Content

Creative assets that count

I genuinely love creating content – particularly when it tells a story! But I will always lean into the media that best meets organizational, mining social and web analytics to measure success and improve.

Social media

I’ve led social content for Huronia Historical Parks for the last 2.5 years. Discovery Harbour’s following on Instagram and Facebook has doubled. Sainte-Marie’s followers have grown by almost 60%.

Video

Beyond reels, I’ve created and edits several videos for free online learning programs for National Indigenous Peoples Day and National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. At Georgian and United Way, I provided content leadership for dozens of videos. I’ve delved for good stories, coordinated shoots, worked with video production teams, and coached video subjects.

Writing

Perhaps my greatest strength is developing inspiring stories, practical how-tos, and helpful listicles. At Georgian, I post this content everywhere: social media, the homepage, the staff intranet, print publications, and email newsletters. At United Way, I was lead writer for several key fundraising publications.

How tos and listicles

At Georgian, the most successful posts were in list form and highly targeted to students who were looking for quick and helpful snippets. I particularly loved interviewing experts and distilling their knowledgeable into scannable pieces.

Infographics

I think infographics are powerful tools that make complex information easier to understand. I can’t take credit for designing these pieces, but I came up with their concepts, wrote the content, and managed approval processes.

Digital tours and maps

At Huronia Historical Parks, a huge part of my job is writing and designing helpful tools to help visitors enjoy their visit to our attractions.
